Perhaps an A5 leaflet with the key points and also information regarding the Newsletter and where to download it? I'm not shy of trudging around my locality shoving stuff through doors, heaven knows, I get enough shoved through mine!

"Leaflet Drops", don't work that well in my experience. Last year I and a couple of helpers distributed over 2000 NO2ID leaflets in my area. They all included my contact details. Never had one reply. People get so fed up with the mountains of "rubbish" that's posted through their doors on a daily basis, that most end up in the bin unread.
One of the best methods of "reaching people" these days, is the internet. I know that not everyone has internet access, and that can be a problem, but leaflets are expensive to print, and time consuming to distribute. _________________ Regards..........Sandie.

Just let me know when your're ready. Sadly, my friend is not online, but no doubt we could overcome this. _________________ Regards..........Sandie.

Hi folks. When I mentioned for the newspaper not to be directed at just England, I didnt mean publish it Nationally. If articles from other areas were included within the paper, then people like myself could "buy" copies to sell them on in our areas. This is how a lot of groups work with their newspapers.
Just a thought> |

It's a good thought, Pete, one worth looking into to.
It won't be too long now before our New Forum and Website is up and running, and, as far as I know, the Newspaper is coming along nicely as well. _________________ Regards..........Sandie.

The plan was to have just 2 pages of local Bristol news, and the rest could from any areas.
The newspaper been on hold for the last week, because I've been sorting the new website out. But if anyone's got any news I could add please send my way. I want to cover technology, health, etc but I don't want it all to be bad news. |
