UK Police claim filming them is a crime...wronglyI caught this film awhile ago but its just been re-raised abroad.

It's hilarious despite the shameful actions of these incompetent officers.
What's important is to establish exactly what OUR rights are in such situations. In this film he is filming the police from his won private premises and later upon the street when they have skulked off with tails between their legs. Where do we stand with filming them in public places? In the US, the WEARECHANGE organisation http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rs_JNKw9dh0 PROMO (WARNING very graphic war images) have been deterred physically from keeping a camera trained on an officer that's interacting with them but claim they are within their rights to have filmed them outright.
In the UK comedian Mark Thomas has experienced similar whilst filming pranks on cops, perhaps for the recent 'Taking Liberties' film, which I've yet to catch. The book is good though despite not going far enough.
See here for Marks exploits as limited as they are. Well worth a watch as he shows the cops up for totally incompetent liars.
